Retired Nurse Starts Dog Hospice To Shower Left Dogs With Love During The Last Days

Animal lovers always came up with great ideas to give the poor souls love and care in every way.

Nicola Coyle is the founder of the Grey Muzzle Canine Hospice, and most of the dogs that come there have been through a lot of dark things, and they are left to spend their last days alone.

The kind woman works hard to give these poor canines the love and care they need, at least on their last days.

“It can be an utterly heartbreaking job,” she told for the Nottingham Post. “But I just can’t bear the thought of them spending their final moments without the love they deserve.”

For many years Nicola has been taking care of these dogs in need, she worked as a nurse in dog rescue till her retirement, when she retired all her energy went into rescuing the dogs and last year she founded the Grey Muzzle Canine Hospice.

“If they’re well enough, we take them for a day at the seaside, they get fish and chips on the beach and ice cream,” she reported. “We’ll also take them down to the local pub – it’s really dog friendly, and they’ll get a steak dinner too.”

“Many have not led a very nice life too, used for breeding or guard dogs, so when they’ve become unwell, they’re not useful any more and left,” Nicola reported. “They just want to feel loved and safe. I really believe they should get a nice ending.”

Nicola your kind soul gives us love and happiness.
