While walking in Dartmouth Nova Scotia, Bryant Thompson spotted a man that was walking his dog through Shubie Park.

But this was not a typical dog walk, he had his dog bundled up in blankets so he doesn’t feel cold, and had him lying in a wagon.

While the man pulled his beloved canine in the wagon, Thompson took some pictures from the distance.

Bryant started to make conversation with the dog’s owner, and learned that the poor dog has ALS (Degenerative myelopathy, or better known as Lou Gehrig’s disease), so he is unable to walk on her own.

Mature dogs usually between the ages of 8-14 years get affected by ALS, and gets worse until the poor animal is no longer able to walk and is paraplegic in the rear limbs.

The kind man didn’t want that this condition prevents his loyal dog from experiencing the world, so he continues to walk her on a wagon.

“I told him he was a great person for doing that, because I know there are many who wouldn’t,” Thompson wrote in a Facebook post, which quickly went viral. “He just said that she would do the same for him and kept trucking. It’s hard to type this without tearing up.”

This man has a heart of gold, and our humanity faith is restored once again.
