Bob’s wife wasn’t at home, his nearest neighbor was a quarter of a mile away from him,so he knew he wouldn’t be able to get help.

But soon his loyal Golden Retriever dog Kelsey ran to him,and helped the owner, keeping him warm and licking him for 20 long hours.

When Bob went out to fetch the firewood at 10.30 pm,he was wearing lightly, with only slippers, long johns, and a long sleeved shirt.

His 40-acre plot farmhouse in MIchigan, was covered in snow and ice when he stepped outside and fell down, after the fall on his back he knew for sure that he had broken something, because he was only able to move his elbows.

And soon after,Kelsey ran to his side, rescuing her owner by laying on him and licking to keep Bob warm out in the cold.

According to Today. ,doctors believe that Kelsey helped her owner to not get frostbite on that cold freezing weather.

“He has marks on his arms from her pawing at him when he was losing consciousness,” Bob’s daughter Jenny said. “It was like, she knew that he had to stay awake because if he fell asleep he wouldn’t wake up again.”
